Becker-Haus in London: 9 houses erected

Becker-Haus erected 9 units with 3 bedrooms on 3 storeys each. The building was designed by SUSD, London.

The plot in Harlesden provided some challenges for the builders: The plot itself was extremely tight and accessible only through a kind of tunnel. Becker-Haus did a very complex and precise planning for prefabrication, transport and erection on site. Each step was determined in every detail in order to minimize any risk during the building process.

The new build exists of solid timber panels which have been prefabricated off-site including insulation, windows and cladding. This high prefabrication rate ensured the short erection period of only two weeks time!
